Can I put text view next to (side by side) the select-options? How?

Yes, I tried but couldn't bring them (labels) into line with the select options.

If i am not wrong you are using a viewcontainerelement to hold all the select options.if yes try to create a textview after viewcontainerelement and see how it aligns
