Alert Monitoring and Notification Mails

I have a requirement to configure CCMS in XI system in such a way that the alerts trigger mails to the outlook users.

This is required in J2EE engine also.

Please tell the T-Codes and Steps.

Asad,

U should configure SCOT in master client 000 and not in the work around client.

U should also schedule a job that executes all the mails in the queue.

have u done with both these steps.

Not necessarily Azad , setting done on one client reflects in all other clients available in the system.

I am able to send mails(SBWP) from other clients but not from client 000.

Is it mandatory to make setting there in client 000?

I have done all the steps mentioned in the Aravindh's Weblog however no mails are getting triggered.

I have checked the ougoing mails by sending a test mail from SBWP and it is coming to my outlook that means that the SCOT and SMTP settings are correct.

Do you have any idea regarding the source of error??

Hi Asad,

When your CCMS is not configured you can only do individual monitoring.

To configure the same you must decide which system is to be the central system for the SCR.

After doing the same please follow these steps.

Log on to the system that is to contain the central repository.

- Choose CCMS ® Configuration ® Alert Monitor, or call transaction RZ21.

- Choose Technical Infrastructure ® System Repository ® Set Repository Role.

- The system displays the Set Repository Role in Central System Administration screen. Choose Central Repository.

Hi Azad,

I have already tried and suceeded in configuring CCMS and triggering Emails when alert comes and have published as blogs.
