Hello,
we are working with SAP PI 7.10.
I would like to know whether PI is able to read dbase3 files. If yes, with which connector ?
Thank you very much for your support.
Regards,
Fabrice
Hi Fabrice
I think Dbase 3 generates.dbf or .dbt files which are similar to CSV. But it depends in Hierarchy present in the file if File adapter can read that or not.
As suggested above Conversion agent is one of the option else with File adapter you can always write modules
Stefen is the right one to guide for modules
Thanks
Gaurav

When I remember this right, then DBase 3 files are like comma separated file.
So you can use file/ftp adapter to read the files and the conversion agent (by Informatica) to generate XML structure from that file.
If you have also a Dbase 3 runtime, then you can use the reporting functionality to generate fixed size files and read them with the file adapter as well.
