Hi,
Activating trace for SAP Logon Control according to Note 308929 and post the log.

The complete message i get is -
no valid directory server found
message no. ldap041
diagnosis
the system attempted to automatically determine a directory server.die aim in doing so was to find a server for the application ROOT with the indicator Proposal.
as no server of this type was found, the system then searched with the application ROOT and then with the application <initial>
however, the system could not find a server
procedure
check the configuration of the directory server in customozing (view cluster VC_LDAP).
log in to other clients is possible
no one can log in to client 000.
sso was configured on this system - but even when i disable it the log in to client 000 is not possible.
we also configured the ldap transaction - but now its also disabled
in sm21 there is the following message - delete session 001 after error 061
Please advise

Moshe
A little progress is made after some investigation
When i try lo log in to client 000 - i get the below error message -
"no valid directory server found" - although it looks like ican't log
in - basically i did loged in successfully - i can go to whatever
screen/transaction i want.
What can be the cause to such an error?
Please advise asap
Regards,
Moshe
Never heard of something like that before... can you please look in the logs for details?.... maybe logon in another client an look at SM21 and also check the dev_w* and dev_disp
I can only think that maybe you have lost a mount or something similar.

Juan
