How to embed the Word Document and PDF file into Crystal report?
I have word doc which having 10 pages. I need to show all of the 10 pages at a time. I tried OLE object but problem is it shows only one page.
Is there any solution to show word doc / PDF file in CR?
Which section of the report are you placing the OLE Object into?
When seeing one page only - are you viewing it in Crystal Reports itself or in Infoview?
If in Infoview - which viewer are you using (ActiveX, DHTML?)

Hi
Perform the following steps to import a Microsoft Word document (*.doc) into a report using Crystal Reports:
1) Create a new Crystal report.
2) From the Insert menu, click OLE object.
3) Select Create from file.
4) Click Browse and open the file to use (in this case the Word document).
5) Place the OLE object in the section where you would like to see it.
You can only place the OLE Object in one section. You may need to create a Word document for each section. For instance, you can create a word document to use as OLE object in the Report Header section, and another one to place in the Page Header.

As you NEVER answered my questions I assume you may not have seen or read or understood my posting:
So again........in which section of the report design are you placing your BLOB field?
When seeing one page only - are you viewing it in Crystal Reports itself or in Infoview?
If in Infoview - which viewer are you using (ActiveX, DHTML?)
Do you have Keep Together marked on the blob field or on the section containing the blob field?
Help us help you!

Symptom :
When embedding a pdf document into a Crystal Report, only the one page shows.
Reproducing the Issue
Environment:
Crystal Reports OLE object
Cause
An OLE object only displays the first page.
Resolution
Embed multiple objects, one for each page
Or
Use a hyperlink to the object instead
Hope this helps!

Vinay
ummmm.......
Inserting ANY object into a Page Header or Page Footer means that the particular object can NOT grow to more than one page.
A page header or footer is for each individual page. They are the ONLY sections in a Crystal report that can not grow to other pages.
Try putting your OLE Object into a Report Header or Report footer.....Group Footer or Header - or details section.
This is not an error. It is by design. Page headers and footers can NOT grow to other pages.
i am also facing the same issue. it shows only first page.
can anyone share the solution for this.

That is normal. Possible workaround; One page per subreport.
No other workarounds that I am aware of...
