How to find UOM for a Product

Hello Gurus,

I have a product with the UOM 'SET' in product master.

But when I try to use the quantity inside the Macro it gives in form of Pieces (ST).

But I need the quantity in the base unit of measurement maintained in the product master (i.e SET). So I planning to write a user defined function module inside the macro for this conversion.

Please let me know how can I find the respective UOM is used from the /SAPAPO/MARM table.

UOM available for the product.

1 SET 1

1 GRO 3

4 ST 1

1 YRU 1

If there are any other way to handle it do let me know.

Hi Siva,

Since you don't want to change the planning area UOM, why don't you calculate the value using the Planning area UOM and then use the FM /SAPAPO/DM_UNIT_CONVERSION to convert the value from the PA base UOM to the product UOM?

Try changing UOM of planning area to SET.

If I change it will be reflected all the products. But I need a logic only for a particluar.

Please let me know is there any other way to handle this?
