Hi Nisha,

Try creating ODBC Connector for oracle database through Control Panel -> Administrative tools -> Data Sources (ODBC).

By following above path open window for ODBC Data source administrator.

Click on Add button to create new Data source. It will list you all the available drivers, in that select "Microsoft ODBC for oracle", say Finish. It will ask you for DSN name, specify the DSN name, also description, user name & server name.

It will create DSN source, which you can access through import manager through "ODBC" option.

Hi Nisha.

If you want to conect to ORACLE, U hav to mainatin the conection details and Data Base Drivers in Data Sourse object.

No need to install oracle client,

Give driver name, data base name in Data Source object.

Cheers,
