Add new characteristic to planning object structure

Hi,

I need to add a new characteristic to a planning object structure in APO Demand Planning but it seems that I can only display existing structure in SAPAPO/MSDP_ADMIN.

Could you help?

Hi,

After deactivating the poc's to add new cvc's to your pos

Tcode:/n/sapapo/mc62,give required MPOS name and choose Create single characteristis combination tab,give required characteristics names and execute.

To confirm choose display characteristice combination and execute

To add a new characterstic you need to follow certain steps as below:

1. First take Backup data of Planning area to a Cube

2. Delete time series from planning area.

3. Deactivate POS

4. Add the new characteristics

5. Activate POS

6. Create new CVCs

7. Create time series on the planning area.
