Hi all,
I have successfully installed CrEme 3.27c and MI Client 7.0 SP13 on many PDA (WM05), after that, I have deployed successfully MSR application but when I restart the PDAs, MI Client takes a long time to start up (about 5 or 6 minutes), besides, it seems that when the charge of the battery is lower than 70%, MI (tomcat) is shut down . How can I solve this problem?
Thanks in advance,
Maria
Dear Maria,
First of all check whether you are using the proper CrEme for your implementation. Please note that CrEme 3.27a is the general build for all devices and 3.27b, 3.27c, 3.27d are meant for specific implementation/devices. Please check the following SAP Note for more info - 1051370.
Also to confirm whether the Tomcat is running, there are two ways:
1. Checking with your browser's http request for the Tomcat server - that is check response for the URL http://localhost:4444 - for Windows Mobile 5.0 devices - Pocket Internet Explorer and http://127.0.0.1:4444 for WM 2003 devices - Pocket Internet Explorer
2. Check whether the process CrEme.exe is running - This can be done using a freeware Task Manager utility, like for example the one that can be found at http://www.dotfred.net. The same can also be found at http://forum.xda-developers.com - you can also google the same to land on the proper download page.
Tomcat start up will be slow if device is cradled - This is an Activesynce / Device Manager issue. Start the device uncradled and cradle the device after full start up.
I think one of my suggestions should solve your problem. Please mark the question as answered if the post solved your problem.
Regards,
Veera
