Hi Jagat,

Basically, it is recommended by SAP to use VIRSAXSR3_01_METADATA / VIRSAXSR3_01_MODEL when you have implemented RAR (CC) 5.3. If your RAR needs to connect to more than 15 target back-end systems then you will run out of VIRSAXSR3* destinations. In that case, you can go ahead and use other VIRSAR3* destinations. VIRSAR3* destinations need to have CC 4.0 (ABAP version of RAR) implemented.

I hope this make sense.

Hi Jagjit

Here is the exact definition

VIRSAR3_01_METADATA / VIRSAR3_01_MODEL :- An SAP GRC Risk Analysis and Remediation 5.3 RTA to a non-HR SAP backend

VIRSAXSR3_01_METADATA / VIRSAXSR3_01_MODEL :- An SAP GRC Risk Analysis and Remediation 5.3

Real Time Agent (RTA).

Which is your back end system? If it is ERP use VIRSAHR_MODEL & VIRSAHR_METADATA .

If it is non-HR like BI use VIRSAR3_01_MODEL & VIRSAR3_01_METADATA

Thank you

Hello Jagat,

Basically There are 3 different kinds of JCO destinations available.

1u2022 If there is CC4.0 SP2 or greater installed at the backend on SAP HR system then configure JCo destinations starting with VIRSAHR_MODEL and VIRSAHR_METADATA

2u2022 If there is CC4.0 SP2 or greater installed at the backend on SAP non-HR system ,then configure JCo destinations starting with VIRSAR3_01_MODEL and VIRSAR3_01_METADATA

3u2022 If there are RTAs installed at the backend then configure VirsaXSR3 JCo Destinations.

Following are the details:

(1)

{To Connect}

A back-end HR version 4.0 SP2 Virsa Compliance Calibrator or greater to a version 5.2 HR Virsa Compliance Calibrator front end Connection limit : Three systems

{Use these JCo Destinations}

VIRSAHR_MODEL & VIRSAHR_METADATA

VIRSAHR_01_MODEL & VIRSAHR_01METADATA

VIRSAHR__02_MODEL&VIRSAHR__02_METADATA

(2)

{To Connect}

A back-end non HR version 4.0 SP2 Virsa Compliance Calibrator or greater to a non-HR version 5.2

Virsa Compliance Calibrator front end Connection limit : Three systems

{Use these JCo Destinations}

VIRSAR3_01_MODEL & VIRSAR3_01_METADATA

VIRSAR3_02_MODEL & VIRSAR3_02_METADATA

VIRSAR3__03_MODEL&VIRSAR3__03_METADATA

(3)

{To Connect}

A back-end version 5.2 Virsa Compliance Calibrator RTA. Connection limit : Fifteen(15) systems

{Use these JCo Destinations}

VIRSAXSR3_01_MODEL&VIRSAXSR3_01_METADATA

VIRSAXSR3_02_MODEL&VIRSAXSR3_02_METADATA

VIRSAXSR3__15_MODEL&VIRSAXSR3__15_METADATA

Hope that's helpful.
