SOAP as a sender

Hi Experts,

I have a scenario where SOAP is a sender and it need to mapped to IDOC

it is a standard IDOC and we are using De Central Adapter for SOAP sender. Do we need to do any additional configuration as compared to normal expect selecting decentrallized adapter in CC channel?

And how can we test this scenario do we need some addtional tools pls do update

Nothing special needs to be done if you are selecting the decentralized adapter engine. It will remain a normal configuration.

For testing SOAP, you can use tools like XML spy etc

Kindly check,

1) If you are under a proxy server ...(If so XI cannot send the IDOC) so that XI receives the data using the XML test tool.

2) You can use altova xmlspy ...This is one of the best tool...

Hi experts,

In my scenario there is a firewall at sender side and it is a B2B scenario .Is there any identfier need to be mentioned at SOAP sender Party side like DUNS number in RNIF.

SOAP sender -

No DUNS number is needed in case of a SOAP scenario.

If you are using you just have to provide corresponding scheme and name. As you are using soap adapter, RNIF specific setting doesn't seem to be important.

Hi Vijay,

As u said DUNS number is not req but as per our scenario there is B2B communication do we need any identifer for SOAP sender party.

Hi

Nothing special setting require. For testing you can use Altova Spy tool to send SOAP request.
