Kernel Upgrade for Netweaver CE 7.1

Hi

Can any body tell me how to find the current version of the Kernel for Netweaver CE 7.1 installation and how to upgrade the current kernel version (I suppose CE 7.,1 is on only JAVA stack)

Please check jlaunch -v in java system.

Can you please tell me how to apply the license for CE 7.1 as it got only JAVA stack?

Below are the steps,

1. Download the license key file supplied by SAP to a local disk

2. Start the Visual Administrator in the J2EE Engine and then follow the path: <Your Server>--> Services -->Licensing Adapter

3. Use the Install License From File button to upload the file

4. Select the file with the downloaded license key

5. Choose Open to continue

6. Then a popup appears stating that the license has been installed successfully

7. Restart the J2EE Engine

Hello Sanjay,

To find the kernel's latest version log on to the portal through http:
<hostname>:5**00.

then click system information with administrator id.Then check the kernel release.To upgrade the kernel u folllow the same as you did in other systems,there will be no difference.
