Hi Ravi
SAP NetWeaver is the open integration and application platform that integrates people, information, and processes.
This means that NW provides platform for running various applications and integrating them to create large complex applications.
SAP NetWeaver provides complete support for Java technology, including Java 2 Platform Enterprise Edition (J2EE) 1.3 APIs, Enterprise JavaBeans (EJB) 2.0, J2EE Connector Architecture (JCA), Java Naming and Directory Interface (JNDI) Java Message Service (JMS), and Java Database Connectivity (JDBC). SAP NetWeaver also supports fast deployment for high development productivity and advanced clustering for high availability and reliability.
For example, SAP NetWeaver Portal uses Web services to offer role-based interfaces that allow employees to work together. The application platform provides existing application functionality, based on Java or ABAP, as Web services.
