service activity and external activity?

2. All the materials and work to be done by vendor.....................

3. i want to buy materials from outside......................................

wht i will be using in first case and in 2nd case ( extaral and service acitivity) is concern .............

pls give me a very brief discription if possible .............

here I would use service activity to be able to break the down to service masters rahter than one lumpsum

Any reason why you go for internal activity here, instead of external activity?

I just want to understand the advantage of using internal activity instead of external activity here
