Hi Guru's,
Here is my scenario.
My production order trigrers a TR for 100 Pc of the component A. The TR is automatically converted to TO.
But I have only 80 Pc of the component A in stock. So, I do a confirmation on the TO with 80 Pc & 20 as the difference quantity.
Now, I buy the component A from a vendor. I do a GR for Component A with respect to a Purchase Order. At this time is it possible to enable the system to propose a message saying that 20 Pc of A is required for production.
Is this possible without any development work?
Regards
Tom
Hello Tom,
Please take a look at the SAP Note 417663.
The only other method to create partial TOs is to create TR groups via transaction LT41 and LT42. In customizing in the details of the warehouse number you must set that for multiple processing you allow
partial creation.
Please be sure you have your warehouse configuration for partial picking configured (T3000-TEILS). You will find this in configuration under 'Control Parameters for Warehouse Management'.
Hope this helps.

Hi,
I've never tried them but maybe it's worth having a look at them::
