Printer problem with SAP R/3

Hi all,

I'm facing a problem when printing on a new local printer.

It seems that drivers are not installed on system.

Can someone explains me how to install new driver on 4.6C release ?

Hi,

There is no concept of installation of drivers for printers in the SAP system.

Try to configure the printer locally first that is you should be able to take a print at os level.

If that is okay then in SPAD check appropriate device type that supports your new printer.

Thanks for your answer,

I can print at the OS level but the printed sheet has a wrong layout, bold characters doesn't appear, borders are too small etc...

I think this a driver issue...

Hi,

You can try using dfferent device types.And check which one works good for your printer.

hi,

are you using SAPGUI on Windows PC ? If so, you could set your SAP R/3 printer to Frontend Printing type F or G.

Frontend Printing type F or G rely on Windows driver to print SAP document.
