Delivery split based on total volume

Hi SAP Gurus

I have a requirement where we wud like to have a delivery split based on the total volume of the delivery. This is to make sure that not any single delivery does not exceed the volume of the truck that ships out of any location.

Ideally we would like to have this information based on the shipping point where we will have the volume limit per shipping point. I understand this needs to be an enhancement but is there any other way to achieve this.

There is no standard customizing which you can do to achieve this functionality.

You may refer to the SAP Notes 546668, 166397 and 22609 for more information.

Well, as explained above there is no standard functionality (such as customizing) to achieve your request.So, I would suggest to use one of the following solutions :

- User exit LV53SFZ1called in dellivery split transactions.

- Usage of business add-ins like LEDSP_SPLIT_EXECUTE (SE18/SE19) where further split criterias can be defined.

I don't think there is other way than enhancement to split the delivery based on the Volume of the material.
