I have an infocube with different fiscal variant values. Partitioning an infocube using 0FISCPER requires 0FISCVARNT to be a constant. But can I create different partitions for the same cube specifying different "constants" for 0FISCVRNT, or do I have to create multiple cubes with same 0FISCVRNT per cube?
Thank you.

HI,,
You can partition InfoCubes using two characteristics calendar month (0CALMONTH) and fiscal year/period (0FISCPER). The special feature of the fiscal year/period characteristic (0FISCPER) being compounded with the fiscal year variant (0FISCVARNT) means that you have to use a special procedure when you partition an InfoCube using 0FISCPER.
You use partitioning to split the total dataset for an InfoCube into several, smaller, physically independent and redundancy-free units.
