Hi,
Could any body explain me how Route scheduling works and determines automatically?
I under stand that system determines automatically, based on the following criteria:
like shipping point + the ship-to party and the unloading point+ transportation group and shipping condition + calender week. i have maintained all the setting but still i am not getting the route scheduling automatically.
I kindly request all of you to help me in this regard.
Many thanks for your help.

Goods Issue
1. Full w/h Mgmnt system : material upto Storage-bin level
2. Lean w/h Mgmnt system : material upto Storage Location level
3. Shipping Point Determination:
a. A Shipping Pt is determined for each Item
b. Shipping Point = Shipping Conditions + Delivering Plant + Loading Group
i. Shipping Condns from the Sales doc type or from the Master record of the SP
ii. Delvg Plant for each item from the CMInfo record + SH + MM record
iii. Loading equipment info in the Loading group filed in the MM.
4. Only those order items that are defined for a part. Shipping Pt. Are copied into the OB Delvy.
5. Route Determination in the order item depends on:
Departure Zone of the Shipping Point
+ Shipping Condns defined in the sales doc type or in the SP
+ Transportation grp assigned to the material
+ Country + Transportation zone of the SH.
6. You can manually override this.
7. You can re-determine the route in the OB Delvy based on wt.
8. Scheduling factors in: Transit + Loading + Transportation Plng + Pick/ pack times.
9. The system does a B/w scheduling and thena f/w scheduling if either material is not avail. On the Matrl Avail. Date or if the date is a day in the past.
10. When U create an OB delivery, the system performs f/w scheduling again. (esp when Matrl avail date is in the past when you create the OB delivery u2013 delayed delivery.)
11. U can specify for each delvy type whether scheduling should be re-determined.
12. For each Shipping Point the system performs daily or precise scheduling.
a. For Precise scheduling, you must maintain working hours.
b. Working hours consist of a calendar and a shift sequence
c. These must tally with the Plant of the Shipping Pt.
13. A Route Schedule consists of : Route + A weekday as the departure day and a departure time + A List of SHs + Itinereray (optional)

Hi Sridhar,
Route could be determined by the system automatically based on the following settings,
1.The departure country and departure zone taking from shipping point.
2.The receiving country and receiving zone from Ship to party from master data
3.Shipping conditions from the sales order (Sales doc header or CMR)
4.The transportation group from MMR.
5.The loading group from MMR
6.. The weight group (Optional)
By taking all above factors into consideration system determines the route.

Hi,
Route is determined by following criteria
Departure country of plantdestination country of ship to partyshipping condition+loading group
These are the 4 criteria which determine route.
Basically route is not automatically determined in sales order.
It generally determined at the time of delivery document.
If you have maintained all setting for the route determination then try to create the delivery document of that particular sales order you will find route in that.
You have to manually assign route in sales order or you have to right user exit for that.
Hope so this will help you out.
Regards
Raj.
