Communication Channels not active or visible in Runtime Work Bench

Hi,

We are facing an issue where our Communication Channels have been activated in the Integration Directory but are not active (i.e. processing any files).

We are also not able to view any of the CC's in RWB - Communication Channel Monitoring.

Would appreciate if anyone can provide any guidance as to what config./settings/installations we may have missed.

Thanks,

Samuel

HI Samuel,

If you are using other than IDoc and HTTP adapters

If you are not able to find the communicaiton channels then do the CPA cache refresh by using

http://Xihost:j2ee port/CPACache/refresh?mode=full

If you are not findout then try to restart the J2ee engine.

Hi,

Once I faced similar sort of problem. I have refreshed the cache in ADMINISTRATION part in integration builder page. I cant assure you. But you can try this once.

Hi

Check your Adapter is locked ?

To unlock your Adapter we use this

Check in the Visual Admin >Cluster> "LOCKING ADAPTER"

we get a option of Display Locks .

reset the locks and restart the CC

Check Note 1083488

Check in RWB> Component monitoring->Display--->Under the Integration Server tree are you able to see ADAPTER ENGINE? If no then talk to the basis guy for this.

Thanks!

Samuel,

you can only display Java-based adapters/CC in RWB, you won't see any abap-based adatpers/CC in RWB. If your adapter/CC is XI adapter or IDOC adapter or HTTP adapter, you simply can't see them in RWB. In this case you can only check sxi_monitor.

Hi Everyone,

Thank you all for the useful suggestions.

We were able to solve the problem by applying SAP Note 1031321 and then refreshing the cache.

Thanks,

Samuel

Which adapters are you using? This problem is usually adapter specific.
