Accounting Doc is not generated

Hi.

When saving the credit memo the accounting doc is not generated,The system shows the error messege"Incorrect doc.no.: 90000267. Select document number between 0900000000 and 0999999999 Message no. F5151

I checked in VN01, the number range maintained there is 0090000000 to 0094999999.( External CheckBox is unchecked)

Following is the error message"Incorrect doc.no.: 90000267. Select document number between 0900000000 and 0999999999 Message no. F5151 you get.

Ur doc no is 90000267 which is 8 digit

where as the system is looking for no range between 0900000000 and 0999999999 which is 10 digit.

I think if you select the no range properly the problem will be solved.

Hi Jyothi,

In the message Incorrect doc.no.: 90000267. Select document number between 0900000000 and 0999999999 Message no. F5151 system suggesting to use numbers between a specified number range.Means ; that we are using External no range.

So,We have to ensure two things here

Every no range has a specific criterion id which we can assign to a document in the No.range field.

Please make sure that whether you assigned the current No.range id in the No.range field of the respective doc.

The second thing please check the no of the document you have given could it falls in the predefined no. range or not.

Ensure that whatever "Number" maintained at left side against 0900000000 and 0999999999 is assigned to your credit memo in VOFA for the field "No.range int.assgt".

Discuss the same with FI-Personnel.

T. Code: FBN1 - assign the number ranges for RV document type in the respective company code
