Data over 4080(HTTPS) Port

Hi Experts,

Currently one of our partner wants to send data over port 4080 (HTTPS).

8000/50000(50001 Port HTTPS Enabled) is my XI server port.

I believe that my XI system can only receive the data's which are coming over 8000/50000 port(HTTP/HTTPS).

Is there any possibilities to receive 4080(HTTPS) port data's in XI.

Thanks,

Prabhu

In case the message protocol is really AS2 you will need to get an AS2 adapter (like SEEBURGER AS2) to process (send & receive) AS2 message.

Even though your default HTTP Port maybe 50000 you can add additional listener ports in the Dispatcher -> HTTP Provider configuration (Visual Admin). Another idea would be to forward the 4080 in your router/firewall to your internal 50000 port.

Not sure what 4080 is. But normally any flow of information over the internet via HTTPS uses port 443.

Normally your firewall, will map this to your internal port as needed.

Can you check what this 4080 port is.

Even as2 afaik uses 443 in the external world over internet.

Port 4080 is commonly used for AS2 messages. You should use an AS2 adapter (Aedaptive, Seeburger) to be able to receive those messages.
