WBS not released before cost booking

Dear All,

Is it possible to book cost on wbs which is not yet released.

If yes , then does it have any effect on AUC.

No it is not possible to book cost on WBS in CRTD status.

If the WBS is budgeted and Management approved, but not yet released , then can booking be done on it.

Hi,

Release is a pre-requisite for booking cost. Even in released WBS, you cant book cost if there is a user status which doesnt allow cost booking. So in summary WBS shud have REL system status and any user status which doesnt block cost booking.

You have to Release the WBS for booking cost. that is prerequisite.

say for ex. if sys is allowing you to post cost in CRTD status & at the same itme system is allowing you to delete WBs in CRTD status , which is contradictory........ to the basic fundamental.
