Sampling type

Hi Experts,

I have try to maintain allowed relationship between samp. pro & dyn mod rule, it shows error: Sampling pro ................ has no sampling scheme.

Pls clarify.

If the sampling type is fixed (not sampling scheme), then how to maintain allowed relationship between sampling procedure & dy modification rule.

define sampling scheme

QDP1 - Create

Choose Logistics ® Quality management ® Quality planning ® Basic data ® Sample ® Sampling scheme ® Create.

On the initial screen for creating a sampling scheme, enter an identifier for the sampling scheme and choose Sampling scheme.

You can use an existing sampling scheme as a copy model. To do this, choose Sampling scheme ® Copy. Then enter the identifier of the sampling scheme you want to copy and choose Copy. The system displays the header data screen with the copied data, which you can change, if necessary.

The header data screen appears, where you can:

Enter a short text for the sampling scheme

Specify the valuation parameter for the sampling inspection type, for which the sampling scheme is to be used.

Define whether the sampling table applies to an inspection severity only, or to a combination of inspection severity and AQL.

Set the blocking indicator to prevent the sampling scheme from being assigned to a sampling procedure.

Enter data as required and choose Continue.

The allowed relationships contain combinations of sampling procedures that reference a sampling scheme and dynamic modification rules. Sampling procedures without a sampling scheme are not relevant for allowed relationships.

When you make new entries for allowed relationships, the system checks for corresponding entries (sampling plans) in the related sampling scheme for all levels of inspection severity in the dynamic modification rule and for a possible AQL value in the sampling procedure.

You can only use combinations of dynamic modification rules and sampling procedures (with sampling schemes) in a task list that are stored as allowed relationships in QM.

Procedure

Create and save a sampling procedure.

The system displays a confirmation prompt.

If you want to include the sampling procedure in the allowed relationships for sampling procedures and dynamic modification rules, choose Yes.

The system informs you that it has added the sampling procedure to the allowed relationships.

Choose Continue.

The screen for editing allowed relationships between sampling procedures and dynamic modification rules appears.

Choose Edit ® New entries and assign a dynamic modification rule to the sampling procedure.

Save your entries.

The initial screen appears.

Dear Velu,

For DMR sampling scheme is a must. Even if your sampling type is fixed you have to maintain sampling scheme. What you can do is make the sampling scheme for all lot size keep the sample size same.
