Movement types for Excise Invoice

Dear All,

Pls clarrify the below.

1. What are all the movement types to be included for Excise Invoice( RG1 Register)

2. My client is doing Raw Material & Consumable sales also. In this case, what are all the movement types to be included.

Movement Type to be included for RG1 register are 561, 601, 631 and all relevant movement type for outward movement of goods.

Dear Senni

Be it raw material or consumables, if you want to bill that products, the movement type should have been 601 in case of direct sales and 631 in case of warehouse transfer. This movement type you have to assign to your schedule line category in VOV6.

I am using 601 movement type for RM & Consumable sales.

In which registers these details will be updated?

For FG sale, I need to add movement type 602 also???

hi,

this needs to update both FG sales (RG1) as well as RG23A register.

Also if u r to upload material with 561 mvt type then include it for rg1 and rg23a reg.

remember whichever mvt type updates rg1 needs to update rg23a reg too and also that mvt types reverse mvt needs to be considered.

according to me commonly used mvt types are

101 - when goods r transfered from production to sales

102 - reverse of 101
