Problem with SPAM Update

All,

I am have 46D installed on Oracle 10G and HPUXIA 64.

I am trying to update the spam in my system for 46C .It goes well upto DD Activation and while activates the in active objects ,it fails with return code 8(import_proper phase) and with below error message

1 -- Sm21 shows

Ora-02168

2 --St22 dump shows DBIF_RSQL_TABLE_UNKNOWN

3 -- SPAM Log

15:27:38: Retcode 1: error in DDL statement for PAT05 - repeat

Error 2168-ORA-02168: invalid value for FREELISTS when executing ADD-FIELD of

No DDL commands found for activation of PAT05

I have checked all oss notes without any success.Please help to give some resolution.

I have looked at the note and seems to be the right note for my problem.I will come back to you guys after applying this note.

system is at SAP Basis 35 , ABAP 35 .

Release 46C

Kernel 1396.

How to resolve the issue.

This is exactly what I thought.

you support pack level is really old and it cannot handle all LMTS/ASSM situations.

apply SAP note recommended by Markus Doehr or apply Basis support pack 49 (SAPKB46C49).

what is your BASIS support pack level? If it is very old, this kind of problem can occur, especially if your converted to locally managed tablespaces.
