LSMW dumps to msg 00338

Hello all,

Have anyone experience what to do when everything else has gone ok in LSMW but

when you start to Create batch input session it dumps to error message 00338?

Analysis is this:

BDC_INSERT, tapahtumakoodi .. on virheellinen

Sanomanumero 00338

Diagnosis

Error creating a batch input session.

Procedure

Contact the person in charge.

Dear Kirsi,

Sometimes for the Length of the Storage file Name length may be Larger than the Char Available.

Just Check the Name of the Files In where the Data is converted and Stored After the Feild mapping Steps.

Change the File Name Char to 3-5 Chars and Create the Batch Input.

The File Names For Storing the Batch input files are taken from the Project Sub Project Tittle.

Correct Me If I am Wrong.
