Hello,
This question is in reference to this blog:
Michal Krawczyk states:
If you wrap your send step (then one that sends the file) with an deadline branch and exception branch
and set the deadline branch to execute an exception after the time needed for adapter framework
to execute all retries then your BPM will finish. It will finish with a negative acknowledgment
so you'll be able to sort the wrong messages but the BPM will be finished successfully
(as the exception branch will be reached).
But in my version of XI I am unable to see how I can "wrap my send step with a deadline branch and exception branch". I have inserted the Block and when I insert a control icon it appears before or after my send step rather than branching as his image shows.
Anyone know the steps I need to follow to get this to show in my BPM?
Thanks,
Matt
Hi,
you have to right click on your block and then you can enter exception and deadline branch.
Inside of the deadline branch you can enter then your control step.
