Tabular data on hard copy to save in SAP

Former Member

Hi

On shop floor daily production data is entered in a hard copy (paper) in tabular form (only numbers are entered) by the end user.

I want to transfer this data to SAP.

It could be either by,

1] This hand written data on paper should be scan to excel with max. accuracy. (like using OCR softwares)

or

2] Using some other technology (like RFID , Bar Coding or some other Electronic Input Device on shop floor) by which data can be pulled directly in sap z-table or in to microsoft excel.

Regards,

AP.

Hi,

for the first one....

You should have a scanner which incoprated with RFID...So it's pickup the number and then u can operate the same.

For second one you have to upload that number to SAP and then call RF Tcode for the same. This can be acheive through Excel sheet too.
