Hi experts,

What is the significance of Applicant no. and what is the difference between Person responsible and applicant no.?

applicant number is used for a porject sponsor txn OPS7

person resp is used for project manager txn OPS6 this config also has user iD field where you can enter sap id for the person resp to get std workflow mails in sap inbox, e.g budget control information

Hi,

Person responsible is Number of the person in charge of the project (project manager) and

applicant no is number of the person applying for the project.

You can define this in Customizing.

SPRO-Project System-Structurers-Operative Structures (WBS)-Specify person responsible for WBS elements

SPRO-Project System-Structurers-Operative Structures (WBS)-Specify applicants for WBS elements

OPS7 : to create possible applicaton for project defination & WBS Elements

OPs6 : to create possbile responsible person for project defination & WBS elements.

you can use employees sap id for it.

You must make these entries manually. The main advantage of it is that you don't need any HR data for this process.
