How to find the Back order quantity

Hi,

here we r developing one BW report on total back order quantity , we have the following details like Requested Quantity, Confirmed quantity and Delivered Quantity from this how i can find out the total backorder quantity.

Go to VA05 or VA05n there you can check the following things

1) Delivery Date

2) Order quantity

3) Open Order quantity

4) Order status

5) Shipping conditions

Here you can take the following things as : 1)Order quantity as the sales order qty 2) Open order qty as the quantity that has to be delivered to the customer 3)Order status to check wheather it is closed or open ; 4) You can take the Shipping conditions as a priority when we run backorders

Go to VA05, select the option "Open sale orders" and execute the report. There you can see fields like

- Delivery Date

- Order quantity and

- Open Order quantity

Consider the Delivery date which is the "Requested Delivery Date" in sale order and whatever quantity is flowing in open order quantity, those can be treated as back order.
