When i try to post configurable material i get error.

Sales order stock 3845 001000 does not exist

How can i create a sales order stock?

Hi

I hope,your configurable material has not been received by you in your Plant and storage location, that is why you are getting the error.

So, receive the material in your Plant and storage location through MB1C.

Put your Plant , storage location, movement type- 561, specia; stock indicator- E,press enter.

In the next screen, enter your material number and quantity , save it.

Now, to confirm check with MMBE(stock overview) for your material number in your Plant and Storage location.

You will find the stock under Sales order stock in your Plant.

Now stock is received by SD department and you can post goods issue for this.

When i try to save the document after adding the material and sales order no as told by most of the ppl, i get the error as "Document number 1000 39000000 2008 was already assinged.

The detailed discription of the error is

Document number 1000 39000000 2008 was already assigned

Message no. F5 152

Diagnosis

Document number 39000000 in company code 1000 and fiscal year 2008 hasalready been assigned.

System Response

Termination of processing.

Procedure

Check document number range 39 in company code 1000 and fiscal year2008 and correct the number range status if necessary

Check in FBN1, the number range 39.

If not available, then create it there for 2008 and save it.

Again try to complete MB1C process to receive the goods into your Plant and Storage location.

Hello,

Go to transaction FBN1, maintain the number ranges for 39 for the year 2008 and try.

Normally configurable material will not be kept in stock. SO you need to create a sales order and then raise the stock for the sales order. You may use transaction MB1C using movement type 561 with special stock indicator E. Now the system will ask for the sales order and line item number. Provide the details, the system will create sales order stock. After this you should be able to create the delivery.

I think so your sales order number range is not matching with sales order stock.

Go to FBN1 and check the number range for your company code.

Hi

Go to MB1C ,

Enter Movement type 561

Plant : XXXX

Storage Loc :XXXX

Right side you find special stock indicator there put E .

Then Press enter ,

specify sales order number and line item , material and quantity. then click on save.

then try to do PGI.
