Hi Experts,

Recently i had installed a system with ECC6,Oracle

i was applied wrong license to it

now i want apply permenent licese, when i am trying to apply it is not allowing me so i deleted that license

now it is not showing any old license and allowing me to apply new one

u have a two options i) reinstall sap if no data available to the system

ii) if data is there contact sap global team write what u did mistake in license

Hi,

you can ask valid license from SAP marketplace (service.sap.com)

once you get valid license,

- shutdown your application server and database server

- login to your DB server

- switch to user <sid>adm (eg. su - tpradm in unix system)

- issue command : saplicense -show to list installed license on your server

- issue command : saplicense -get to know your hardware ID used for new license request

- issue command : saplicense -install to install new valid license for you server. you will be prompted to enter necessary information about yur server (hardware ID, installation number etc.)

if you are on the login position right now, you can install new license using tcode slicense

then you goto edit > install license and submit requested license key and other necessary information about your server.
