PI UDS Parameters

Hi all,

I am installing the PI UDS using the following:

UDSFRAMEWORK_2_5_0_4.EXE

PI-SDK v1.3.5 Build 343

PIUDS_2_5_0_0.EXE

Was wondering if anyone has a description of the Debug paramater - I'm not sure what that parameter is for. Also, if anyone has any 'heads-ups' or general tips for the PI UDS install - I would appreciate those as well.

Hi Joseph,

According to the UDS 2.5 help documentation, "in Debug mode you have access to a dialog box from which you can close an instance. This mode is usually used for debugging purposes only." This doesn't seem to be the case. Since the 2.5 UDS doesn't create a log file, I have always used SysInternal's Debugview and the Windows Event logs to capture debugging information. The 2.5 UDSs are an older product, but work very well.
