This is probably a really stupid question but anyway.... From an SAP system i am using bd16 to send an Customer Master IDoc. In WE02 i get a status 3 which says IDoc has been released to port. I have been through all the config docs on setting up RFC and Ports and all that stuff. Everything looks good and test connections come back successful. My problem is that i never see these IDocs come through XI. Is there something that needs to run on the Receiver system that says to release the IDoc from the port so it will go to XI? I have tried every monitoring thing i can think of and it is like these IDocs just get sent into space. Any ideas?
hi,
have a look at transaction SM58 - there will be errors there probably
and get a good book for IDOC scenarios configuration

Have you done all the settings of port in IDX1 and upload matadata for Idoc in IDX2?
Please check the log in SM58 also.

HI Derrick,
First you need to check any error information is there in SM58 tr code the system.
And also recheck the ALE setting to send the IDoc from R/3 to XI system.
You can check the IDoc in XI by using the IDX5 tr code.
Let me any errors u find in the SM58.
