Hi,
Wee are trying to automatize commissioning tag with AII 2.1
To do so, we have created one rule that is executed with an incoming xml, in this rule we make a call transaction to tx '/AIN/WRITETAG'...we've also tried with tx '/AIN/MOBILE0' but in both cases we don´t get anything (well processed but no EPC is written)
Does anybody know if it's possible to make an automatic commissioning with AII 2.1??
Hope your help.
Best regards.
Hi Xavier,
it is possible to automize the tag commissioning. Let's assume cases move along a conveyor belt. At a certain point the light beam of a photo sensor is broken, which activates a barcode reader. The barcode represents the GTIN (Global Trade Item Number) in a graphical format. That barcode is read and sent togehter with additional data, such as the command (e.g. IN for incoming message) and the device ID. These key components of an XML message trigger a rule in AII - the "condition" consisting of location ID, device ID and command triggers a rule, e.g. TCPR for tag commissioning ...
By the way, transaction /ain/mobile0 represents the mobile UI and its functions. Tag commissioning could also be triggered through a mobile device.
It is also possible to use the desktop UI / desktop transaction /ain/writetag to perform tag commissioning.
Does this info help?
Best regards,
Markus
