How do business graphics customization works? (2004s)
requirement: A column graph and a parabolic graph should be shown in a single graph. The background for this graph should be colored to show a range, say acceptable values in green and others in red.

Hi,
you should use point customizing for this:
in the Chart Designer create e.g. two new points (right-click on Points (below Series), choose Add Point), change the color of the first ('Point1') to red, rename Point1 to e.g. RedPoint, and do the same for Point2 with e.g. a green color.
In your application you have to set these customizing IDs (RedPoint or Point1) to the data points that should be colored red.
