Default saving of documents in C drive

Dear All,

We are attaching documents ( i.e. word/excel/Pdf ) files in projects. These documents are getting attached properly and saved properly. Also, they are opening through projects. My problems is whenever I opened these documents in any local PC a copy of document is getting saved on C drive of that PC, we need to every time go delete these file ( like temporary files) from C drive.

Let me know how I can avoid of saving such documents in C drive??

Dear Atul,

Please go to tcode dc20 and delete the path defined for data carrier (pc) in Define data carrier type "server, front end" in dialog structure. This path must have defined as c:\ or c:\temp, which needs to be removed for not getting copy of file.

Please award pts if its useful / solve ur query / need further information.

Hi,

go to DC30-->double click on the required application (doc/xls etc) and check box for Delete file after Check-in.
