Article Discontinution issue

Hi

I have discontinued Article using WSE1 and WSE4 tcodes, but still i am able to create PO and Sales order.

System gives only warning message Artilce flagged for discontinutation

but i want block sale order and site level, how can we do

Hi Satish,

Be sure whether do u want to discontinue or block.

When u discontinue the article u will no longer be able to use it again depending on the level u have discontinued.

But where as for a specific period of time if u want to block the article due to some reasons u can

If u want bnlock at client level then do it in basic data,for the respective stores and DC u can do the same by entering the validity area in the ARTICLE DC and store tabs.

There is a differnce between discontinue and block,know the purpose first.
