Look Out Functionality in APO - DP

Can anyone descirbe wht is "Look out" functionality in Demand Planning? ( i think it comes under Planning book not sure)

Hi,

Lot of functionalities should cover under Demand planning,all functionality should be affected in Interactive demand plannig.Based on planning book functionality IDP should be appear....go through the below links will come to know all functionalities in DP
