Dear colleagues!
Please help me how can I add and use new number range for messages in Solution Manager (4.0) Service Desk?
I've made:
DNO_CUST01-> SLF1-> 01
DNO_NOTIF-> add new number range for ABA messages
CRMC_NR_RA_SERVICE-> add new number range for Service messages
IMG-> SAP Solution Manager-> Configurating-> Basic settings-> Standart configurating for basic settings-> Solution Manager-> Number ranges->Check number ranges for Service Desk messages-> SLFN-> Int.No.Range No-> 01
BUT I can't fill out Ext.No.Range No-> 02 system message is "Enter a valid number range interval" and it not allows write anything.
What can i do?
This problem I've already solved, thanks everybody!

Hi,
Are you creating message in satellite system or in solman itself? If you are creating message in solman then you need not to have external no. range. But if you are creating message in satellite system then maintain 2 no. ranges at both the places. At DNO_NOTIF it has to be internal and at CRMC_NR_RA_SERVICE the same no. range has to be marked as external.
Inspire by rewarding.

Nikhil

Hi Nikhil!
Yes, I need to create messages in satellite system. It is required that the messages have another number range, different from what it usually have. For example, message usually starts from 8*********
I want it to start from 00001*****. And I want that the old numeration will not be used anymore. I've already created new number ranges at DNO_NOTIF and at CRMC_NR_RA_SERVICE.
You can use implementation guide to set the number range.
Solution Manager -> Scerio Specific Setting -> Service Desk->General Settings -> Number Ranges.
There you can set number range and asssign number range to transaction type.

Hi Gates!
Unfortunately there is no way you wrote. Just: Solution Manager -> Scenario Specific Setting -> Service Desk->Service Desk->General Settings -> Define Transaction Types and
-- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- - -> General Settings -> Define Message Types.
No any number ranges.
ABA Messages are already difined. If I choice "Define Transaction Types" I can't define "Ext.No.Range No". So I've already written in my 1st message.
