Wbs elements allowed on each level

Hi

We are migrating Projects from SAP 4.6 data to SAP 4.7.

The WBS elments in 4.6 has more than 99 WBS elementson level 1 and/or level 2. can we change the max number of WBS elemnts allowed in 4.7 from 99 to higher number If so please let me know how to proceed further as both systems have Active projects and wbs elements with postings on them.

Amit is correct

I will just add that while there is no restriction to number of WBS in levels - this is primarily dictated by the coding mask

So before migration review the coding mask and maybe you might want to make sre that new coding mask allows more than 99 WBS elements on each level

Hi,

There is no restriction on number of WBS on each level. You can proceed adding new WBS on that level.

There is restriction on levels ( upto 99). But character length is restricted to 24.

As per I know, maximum no of WBS levels in hierarchy, you can use in any of the project in all the version 4.6 to EEC6.0 is 99.

you cannnot change this level nos. to beyond it.
