No physical samples are assigned for inspection lot

Dear Experts,

we want to assign physical sample to inspection lot in production (inpspection type 03) ,

Such that when Production order released inspection lot should automatically contain a physical samples ,

For this the we maintained

1) Routing with insp point 200 Inspection point for phys. sample ( and all other MIC data are maintained in Routing )

2) Sampling procedure with with phys. sample

3) Sample drawing procedure entered in Routing header.

Please let me know the steps.

Hi Sandeep,

All of first let me know are you able to assign the Physical samples to the Lot manually or not.

If not then follow the steps...

- Go to QA02, enter inspection lot number.

- Check the Task list assignment is done or not, if not then do it.

- Go the Sample Tab and click on the "Smpl." Button.

- It will create the Physical Samples.

The setting to be done are correct. But even though if it is not creating the Physical samples automatically then let me know the details for your SDP and Sampling procedure.

Hi,

Please check the following if you are getting the problem regarding physical samples after calculating sample size.

1. In Sample drawing procedure, Unit of Measure for container, formula for Primary, pooled and controlled samples.

2. The No of containers in Inspection lot with Unit of measure.

Reset the lot using QAC3 and reassign the task list with current date as effective date.
