Pricing error

Hi

When i try to create a quotation and enter the price i am getting the following error message :

Pricing error: Mandatory condition MWST is missing

Message no. V1801

Diagnosis

The obligatory condition MWST does not exist. The document is therefore considered to be incomplete from the point of view of pricing.

The cause can be, for example, that a condition record does not exist for condition MWST or that a field overflow has occurred when the condition rate was calculated.

Procedure

Check why the condition could not be found. Use the pricing analysis function on the pricing screen to do this. If necessary, add the missing condition manually to the document.

If you need MWST for your taxation, then maintain its value in vk11 for MWST cond type.

If you do not want MWST, then go to your pricing procedure in V/08 and make MWST as non-mandatory.

Maintain condition record for MWST tax in VK11 or uncheck mandatory check box against MWST c-type in pricing procedure of that doc. using TCode V/08.

Dear Senthil,

In your Pricing Procedure (T. Code: V/08), Condition Type: MWST might be maintained as "Mandatory".

In tT Code: V/06

Check whether, Condition Type is maintained and "Automatic" or "Manual entry has priority".

In T. Code: VK11/ 12

maintain Condition record for Condition Type: MWST, which will be determined in to your Sales Doc. (say, Quotation), if Automatic, else manually enter the condition type in to line-item

To do so, click on select line-item and double click. Go to TAb: conditions. Enter MWST in condition column and save the Quotation.

Note: Check with "tax classification in customer master" (XD02) --> Sales area --> Billing

Mention tax code and ensure the same maintained in the material master screen under sales org 1 tab

ensure that u have created the condition record for the same tax clasiffication

Hi senthil

Firstly , In quotation order -> item data -> condition tab -> click on analysis and check why you were getting that error

Secondly , check in item data -> weather plant and shipping point are coming or not

Thirdly , Go to VK12 and check wheather the MWST conditon record has been maintained or not

Hello,

As you know the condition MWST is the output tax condition. By default this is checked as Mandatory in the pricing procedure. Either you will need to maintain condition record for MWST in VK11 or remove the mandatory check from the pricing procedure.

In VK11 maintain codition records for MWST

MWST is the tax cocondition type

Hope you have maintained all tax codes properly

Note all mandatory condition types that is in pricing procedure those condition types which are nmarked as mandatory you need to maintain condition records in VK11

Otherwise pricing error will come alternatively you can remove mandatory in PP against that condition type
