Setting up the amount of allowed user via MSTSC

Hi!

We have the following problem in our windows landscape

Only one user can log in via MSTSC commando on the server.

When the second user tries to log in onto the same server the warning comes up that the first user will be log out.

Question:

how we can increase the amount of parallel users working on the same server and login via MSTSC?

Thank you very much!

Holger

if you try to connect to the console, this is completely normal. so, uncheck "console" checkbox. it will give you 2 accesses.

Hi Eric!

Thank you for your response.

I log in via RDP.

>uncheck "console" checkbox. it will give you 2 accesses.

Could you give me please some more technical description how to do this?

Thank you!

I use another program called VisionAPP. ift uses RDP in the background but you get a single windows with all your connections at one time. you can even sort them and put them in sections. Yuo have better control on how you connect than RDP.

This program hs the option to connect to Console or not.

You can also have a look on TSMMC.msc which is free from Microsoft.

Another possibility is DAmeware Mini REmote control, but this uses mainly the console connection.

Hi Eric,

I could find the program TSMMC.msc, but I could not clarify the following.

Do I have any possibilities to change the behaviour of login via RDP in order to allow more than 1 parallel connection?

Thank you!

if you use 2 different usernames, this will surely work.
