Query about profile parameter DIR_ORACLEHOME

Hi All,

Our Production Server is running on distributed env.means DB and Application are running on diff servers.We have to set the parameter value for DIR_ORACLEHOME ,what should be the value for this including the full path.

DIR_ORAHOME should be pointing to /oracle/<SID> your system knows that is a distributed environment

Thanks Juan, as we are setting the parameter in Central Instance profile. CI does not have this directory /oracle/<sid> . Do we need to put host name in from of this path? or system will automatically recognize it.

It will pick the DB host name from the parameter SAPDBHOST.

System will know the host from parameter SAPDBHOST as explained by Jazz...
