We have created a new Project Profile and hence forth we would like that the Projects be created using the new Project Profile. Already there are projects with old profile. When we open the header WBS element it is showing error instead of opening the WBS element screen. What is the solution to this? Thanks in advance.
You cannot assign the new project profile to the old project as these can be done while creation only. You can create a new project with your new project profile.

It is not possible to deactivate project profile. the only option is that you modify your existing project profile up to some extent, so, while creating new project with that modified old project profile will take in to accout your requirement.
