VL10B cannot create delivery (STO) due to serial no profile

Dear SD Guru,

I can't create delivery via VL10B from STO, purchase order because serial no is a mandatory filed.

This is because to create delivery from STO, it has to be created in background but I can't even generate the delivery because the system is asking for serial no.

Any advice will be greatlt appreciated.
