Storage system - DMS

hi,

My client has his document data on some system on a network drive. How can i add this location as one of my the storage systems for the document/s i create. Pls somebody suggest!

hi,

your clue was a good lead for me but still i am not able to figure out the sequence of steps

For adding local drives i followed

1. Defined a data carrier type vault called NS-new storage --- am still not getting this NS listed in the Data carrier options(but its listed in data carrier type) when i go to define the mount there

Now i could define data carrier type can u tell me where can i define this data carrier?

2. Even i tried creating the NS through server front end and i expect this data type to appear in the options when i go to define mount which did not happen

Can you explain me how this whole thing is done step by step?
