Dear All:
We first built SCM system without Livecache (because we only have the
SCM migration files). After that (SCM runs well), we installed a
new LVC system. The new LiveCache is version 7.5 non-unicode, because
the SCM is version 4.1 and non-unicode. Then we tried to integrate
the SCM and new Livecache to reinitialize.
But in LC10, we can't connect the LVC with SCM. The system report
error:
DBMRFC function: DBM_EXECUTE
Command : dbm_version
Error : System Error
Then we tried in SM49 to run DBMCLI and DBMRFC.
For DBMCLI with parameter dbm_version, the result is OK
For DBMRFC with parameter dbm_version, report error.
After that we tried in SM59 to test 2 connections:
SAPDB_DBM & SAPDB_DBM_DAEMON and both failed.
SAPDB_DBM_DAEMON:

Thanks all the same.

Few things to check :-
1) Your SAPDB_DBM & SAPDB_DBM_DAEMON trfc connection should work fine. Check what gateway is mentioned there. You can use program sapdbmrfc and Default gateway value radio button, Activation type "start on application server".
For SAPDB_DBM_DAEMON rfc connection use program ID dbmrfc@sapdb
2) Hope LC box is connected in the n/w. You can try pinging the same from APO server at OS level. #ping <lc server hostname>.
